Today I wanted to share with you a special spot in our fifth wheel-an extra closet! When we had our Class A, we had to store the vacuum in the already small hallway, the hoses and extensions underneath in storage, and the cleaning products underneath the sink. This particular 2006 Newmar has an extra closet between the toilet room and the master bedroom.
The top holds bulk toilet paper, hoses and extensions for the vacuum, carpet cleaning attachments, 2 hand-held brushes, and an extra essential oil diffuser*. *We sell essential oil diffusers on our doTERRA website. Check out our products here.
So what did you think of our utility closet? Do you have any extra space in your RV or trailer that you love? Write your comments below. I would love to hear from you. Don’t forget to follow our blog to keep up with our journey.
You might be wondering, “What are the Cedarwood Blocks for?”
“The unique power of cedar wood absorbs moisture and eliminates mildew and fungus. The natural wood also acts as a natural insect repellent, keeping away moths and other insects. Cedar blocks also deodorize the air and refresh the aroma in your cupboards, closets and storage spaces”
Today was Wash Day at our house. This time it was a little different. We didn’t go to the laundromat and we didn’t wash clothes by hand. Well, at least not like we used to. We used a Wonder Wash by The Laundry Alternative.
The Wonder Wash is so easy that my 8 year old can do his own laundry! You can watch Part 2 here.
We ended up doing 4 loads of laundry today in about an hour and a half (including hanging to dry). I enjoyed how quick and easy it was to wash our clothes. I plan to wash one load of clothes every 2-3 days and smaller bedding about once every two weeks or so. I also plan on getting the Mini Countertop Spin Dryer to cut down on dry time.
How do you wash your clothes? Are you trying to become more independent, debt-free, and off grid? Don’t forget to follow my blog to keep up with our journey.
